Pon3Con was really, really good! Although there were a couple of things that reaaaaally need fixing, but I’ll just bring those up with staff.
I got an awesome picture from Dinah Moe which I’ll be scanning and putting up (most likely tomorrow), and bought a ton of prints and other stuff, including a Berry Punch plushie. Because I have a proooooblem and the only solution is cuddles.
Sitting in on the brony musician jam session was fucking AMAZING. Jackle on bass was super-rad, and Grooves kept things lively as fuck, and both an electric and acoustic guitar doing rhythm, and the poor drummer finally was also awesome once he quit bein’ shy :D Just AAAUGH it was perfect!
RCR was also really neat to meet. It’s like she’s shy, but when you get her talking she’s just a whirlwind of fun :) And there was a picture of Vinyl and a sandwich that she needs to reproduce… And Max, who did the .MOV stuff, totally reminds me of my coworker art guy; he’s very honest, and tells you what he thinks, and is really shy and unfortunately self-deprecating, but that’s just who he is. Still loads of fun sitting in on his panel :D
Seriously though, amazing time, got to talk to a ton of people I’m fond of (even had one get ahold of me after I got home, so there were tons of good people!). I feel very loved right now for some reason, and I’m just gonna roll with it. It’s very, very nice, and I do try to avoid the habit of questioning nice things too much.
I’ll post more later probably.
